A New Look for Cape.Com
2004 is an important year for Cape.Com. It marks our 10th year in business -- a feat not easily accomplished by any small business, let alone one in the volatile high-tech industry. But we've made it, and we're looking forward to our next decade bringing you all the latest developments and technologies as they arise -- at fair prices and of course, superb support. To commemorate our 10th anniversary, we've changed the look of our website a bit. While the overall structure of the site remains the same, the initial pages and graphics are somewhat different. We've added a "splash page" which loads first (for all users except those connecting via dialup), where you can reach our most popular pages and important information with just a few mouse clicks. To preview our new splash page, click below: http://www.cape.com/splashpage You will notice that our splash page contains a button on the bottom far left called "Cape.Com Portal" -- this will link you to our home page, should you desire to continue navigating from there. In addition, we've redesigned our existing home page to match our new look. The links on the home page are unchanged -- it is merely the graphics that have been updated. To preview our new home page, click below: Both of these pages are scheduled to go live permanently the morning of February 12th, and will replace our current home page. There will be no going back to the old design, so please take a few moments to familiarize yourself with our new look. Please note: Upon initially downloading these newly designed pages, it will appear that the pages may take longer to download. In reality, both the splash and new home pages are similar in weight than our existing home page. The initially longer download time is due to the fact that the components of these pages are not as yet stored in your browser's cache. You will notice upon subsequent visits to these pages that they will indeed load much faster -- faster even than our current home page -- since the pages will then be stored in your browser's cache. We here at Cape.Com are excited about our new look, and hope you are pleased with it as well. You will easily find the information you need, and will notice that pages load faster too. We know that change is often difficult, so we provided this preview for your benefit, and will work with you along the way to ensure an easy transition to our new look. This new look was designed by Cape.Com's Art Director and Web Project Manager, Apaarjeet Chopra, and was magically put into play by Cape.Com's talented team of web designers and programmers. Let our web development staff give your site a new look! Thank you for choosing Cape.Com, Inc. We sincerely appreciate your business and loyalty over the years. |
