DSL Expansion Continues - Do you Qualify?

Recent broadband policy changes agreed to by the Federal Communications Commission in February has improved the business environment for DSL service providers like Cape.Com, thus making more aggressive DSL broadband deployment possible and very probable throughout 2003.

As of May 2003, approximately 65% of homes and businesses in Massachusetts qualified for DSL. By year-end, the goal is to have 80% qualify, with 98% of the MA telephone company central offices and remote terminals equipped to offer DSL. Expansion began in the 2nd quarter with most significant upgrade progress expected in the 3rd and 4th quarters.
