New Hampshire Local Access Numbers
Although the exchange code may not be familiar to you, numbers listed on this site should be a local call. To verify that it is a local number, dial the number using a regular phone. If you hear a screeching noise, (like the noise you hear when a modem connects), then the number is local. If you hear the operator's voice, then either the number is long distance, or the Dialing Properties for your dialer may not be set correctly. If your location requires dialing a different area code, it should still be a local number. Dial 1 + the area code + the number; your telephone company can confirm that this is indeed a local call for you. Important: Your telephone bills are your responsibility. You should always check with your local telephone company to determine if a dial-in number is a local call for you. Cape.Com, Inc. is not responsible for long distance toll charges incurred for Internet access. If you have any questions, please email support@cape.com or call us at 508-539-9500.
