Easy Internet CD

Make sure that BEFORE you install or download ANY software:

Installing new software can wipe out all the settings which allow you to connect to Cape.Com. Have a Cape.Com Easy Internet CD handy. Instructions for manually configuring your connection are also available (see below) It is a good idea to print a copy.
If you use Windows 95 (or 98 or NT), make sure that you have your Windows CD handy. Installing new software can wipe out files which you need to re-install from this CD. It must be your CD (a friend's most likely will not work). If you do not have one, contact the company you bought your computer from and get it BEFORE installing new software.
Back up any important information on your computer, including any saved messages, address books, bookmarks or favorites. Software upgrades are notorious for wiping out this information.
