Email Autoresponders
Leaving town? You may want to post an autoresponder so those who are sending you email will know that you're incommunicado... An autoresponder is a 'canned' message that is automatically sent back to the sender of any email that's destined for you. It typically informs the sender that you won't be getting back to them until you return. Send the body of your desired canned message to support@cape.com and request that an autoresponder be posted. Please include the email address you wish this posted on, the date that you'd like it to start and the date that it should be removed. If you would rather, you can forward your email to another address while you are away. Simply log into On-Line Accounting (My Account), select the email address for which you would like email forwarded and press the Add/Delete/Modify Services button. Enter the forwarding email address in the "Forwarded to" field. Then, when you return, immediately disable the forwarding by clicking the Add/Delete/Modify Services button for the email box which has the forwarding in place, and clear the forwarding field.
