If Cape.Com is providing name service for your domain, this move is relatively painless. Cape.Com can continue to provide "secondary mail service" for your domain. If your Internet connection to us goes down or your mail server goes down for whatever reason, Cape.Com will automatically start collecting incoming mail for your domain. On a periodic basis, our servers will attempt to deliver this queued mail to your server.

If your connection to us is a dialup connection, then Cape.Com will receive mail for your domain while you're off-line. When your mail machine dials into us, we can immedialely deliver accumulated mail.
