Virtual Hosting: $30/month

Our most popular plan, Virtual Hosting is designed with the small business in mind, and provides a robust package of services that will keep even the most heavily loaded site running smoothly.

Virtual Hosting - Email Only: $15/month

For customers that have registered a domain, but do not have a website. This service enables you to use your domain name for email only, i.e., "me@mycompany.com".

Subsequent Virtual Email Hosting services on the same account are $10/month.

Basic FTP/WEB: $5/month*

Perfect for the average-size personal web site. Basic hosting is an extension of the cape.com domain, www.vsX.cape.com/~username.

For convenience: home.cape.com/username may also be used, but this acts strictly as a pointer to the vsX URL listed above. This easy to remember address can be used on your promotional materials or when referring to your site.

NOTE: Hosting Plans do not include access to the Internet. You still need to get on-line! Access may be provided by Dial-Up, DSL and dedicated connections like ISDN, and T1. Please review the various access options to determine what is best for your business. Since our hosting plans include a number of email accounts, you can easily save money by consolidating your Internet access and web hosting services with Cape.Com.

Additional Pricing Information

• The first Virtually Hosted domain on an account is $30/month. All subsequent Virtually Hosted domains on the same account are $22/month. For hosting 5+ domains or heavy-traffic sites, see our cost-effective Managed Dedicated Hosting plan.
• Non-Profit organizations that can provide proof of non-profit status (MASS DOR FORM ST-2) also receive Virtual Hosting for $22/month.
• $2/month for each additional associate user (email box) beyond each hosting plan's specified amount.
• Mail Aliases: $1/month for each additional email alias beyond the hosting plan's specified amount. Allows you to have a username longer than the usual 8 character limit.
• All Virtual hosted sites receive a free text link in the appropriate category of our cape.community section.
• All hosting services require that you have a Cape.Com account. A one-time account signup fee of $25 is charged when you open an account.
• A one-time $35 setup fee is required for new Virtually Hosted and Virtual email services that are placed on an existing account. Discounts on this setup fee may be available if you are registering or moving many domains at the same time. Other, non-Cape.Com domain registration fees may also be required.

Domain Pointer: $1/month/domain

Have a domain name pointed at an existing, Virtually Hosted site at Cape.Com for a monthly fee of just $1 per domain. Domain Pointers allow you to have multiple domain names pointed at a single site without paying for full service, Virtual Hosting services. For example, a business may have www.mycompany.org and www.mycompany.net pointing to www.mycompany.com on an invisible, on-going redirect basis. This example would cost $2/month.

In addition, each pointed domain is granted one global email alias associated with the domain, i.e, anyemail@mycompany.org. Email coming to this pointed domain's address can be forwarded to an email box of the Virtually Hosted domain. More extensive email services are not included with this service.

Additional Web Hosting Services:

• Additional FTP/Web Storage: $1/month for each additional 10 MB
• Internet Transfers: The 500 MB/day limit is more than sufficient for the great majority of web sites; representing thousand's of distinct visits every day. For very high volume sites, please contact us for a quote on dedicated Internet bandwidth. This dedicated bandwidth is allocated exclusively to your web site
• SSH SCP Access: FREE Secure and encrypted connection and file transfer services
• PHP Scripting Language: FREE A sophisticated server side scripting language.
• Frontpage Server Extensions: FREE Cape.Com supports Frontpage 2000 Server Extensions.
• SQL Database Services: $5/month for 20 MB storage; $2/month for each incremental 10 MB of database storage. Applies to sites utilizing SQL database services only.
• Domain Name Registration: Cape.Com will register your domain on your behalf. We work with Network Solutions, the most trusted name in domain registrations. Fees are payable in advance for new or existing domains as follows: $35 for 1 year; $70 for 2 years; and $125 for 5 years.
• Domain Renewals: An auto 2-year domain renewal will remain in place to ensure you don't loose your Cape.com registered domain name..

How Storage Amounts are Calculated

All of our hosting plans include a certain amount of storage space. You're free to use as much as you like beyond these totals, and, will be charged at a rate of $2/month for each additional 10 MB. Storage totals are tallied by calculating the total amount of disk usage that your site consumes. Users that have created a transfers/web directory within their site to gather the raw access logs should periodically download these files, then remove them from their ftp site. By keeping the amount of storage in this directory to a minimum, users will minimize any excess storage charges.

Secure Service

Secure server service involves a $200 setup/registration fee and $180 annual fee after 1st year. Setup fee includes licensing for the 1st year, GeoTrust (Digital Certificate/ID) registration, server configuration and testing. $180 subsequent annual fee includes all fees and activities related to annual GeoTrust registration renewal (see below).

* Upon request, Cape.Com can register your certificate with Verisign. The fees for using a Verisign certificate are as follows: $400 registration fee, $400 annual renewal fee.

On-going monthly secure server fee: $20/month

Secure Service adds strong encryption to your web site and lets your visitors know all transactions are encrypted and secure. This requires two major components:

1. A Secure Web Server that is serving as a virtual host for your domain.
2. A registered digital certificate. We use GeoTrust as the Certificate authority. We will register a certificate on your behalf. As part of this registration, you would need to provide some form of documentation relating to your company. A Dun & Bradstreet DUNS number, articles of incorporation and/or tax filings will typically serve this purpose.

All web space here at Cape.Com, Inc., is restriction-free. You're free to sell advertising, products, resell the space to third parties, anything! (subject to our Terms & Conditions)

Cybercash

$150 setup fee, includes CyberCash registration, configuration and testing. $10/month Process payments in real time. CyberCash is the most cost-effective, fully automated, secure payment system for selling goods and services on the Internet. Merchants receive assured, instantaneous payment via multiple payment methods without prior customer relationships. ( CyberCash software runs in conjunction with Secure Service ). Shopping Carts/Virtual Storefronts:

Enable visitors to browse through your complete product line and pick and choose specific items. Shipping and other order-related charges are calculated automatically and product lists can be maintained by hand or through the use of a back-end database.

BackOffice Encryption Tools:

If you'd like to maintain log files of transactions, we strongly urge the use of back-office encryption to ensure sensitive information is stored in an encrypted form. You would need to get a copy of PGP.
