Broadband Voice RingMe Service

We're pleased to announce our new VoIP RingMe service. RingMe allows users to access their Cape.Com VoIP calling plan from anywhere in the world, using a web browser and standard telephone.

Cape.Com provides local access into our VoIP network throughout the eastern U.S. In addition, we provide 800 number access into our VoIP network for users traveling within the U.S. RingMe service enables you to access our VoIP network from anywhere outside of the U.S.

To start using RingMe, login to the My Account section of the Cape.Com website.

- Once logged into MyAccount ,select the user to which your VoIP PIN is attached, then click the View/Add/Delete Services link.

- From here, find the RingMe option and enter the telephone number of the phone at your present location (no dashes, just the 10-digit number).

-You can specify the call to Call Now, Call in 10 Seconds or Call in 60 Seconds. The delay times are intended for those who are using the same phone line to connect to the internet and make the call. This way, you can log off the internet in time to pick up your phone.

- The phone should start ringing within seconds or later if a call delay ring time was set. Now, simply pickup the phone and enter your VoIP PIN number, followed by the pound sign.

- You'll now hear dial tone and can enter the telephone number of the person you wish to call.

RingMe service is available to any Cape.Com customer with a valid account, VoIP PIN service, and access to a web browser and standard telephone.

Calls made using RingMe will be charged our standard, published VoIP rates. RingMe service calls are billed for both legs of the call. Leg 1 is the call from Cape.Com to your present location. Leg 2 is the call from Cape.Com to the number you dial.
