Anyone can use the Cape.Com Broadband Voice Card! Call next door or China by simply entering your local voice access number, accompanied by your PIN number as outlined below. Use the Voice card from your home or business phone, cell phone or pay phone. Call activity and applicable charges will appear on your monthly Cape.Com invoice. There are no taxes, fees or surcharges of any kind. All calls are billed according to plan selected, based on our low per minute rates. The Voice Card can be used whether you are travelling or staying put, and by itself or in conjunction with Voice services on your DSL or T1 line -- all minutes accummulate toward your total plan minutes. In addition, you can provide your associate users with their own Voice Card and their call minutes will accumulate toward the total plan minutes, or, you can give them their own calling plan, and, they'll receive their own plan minutes. The above plans are for calls made within the continental United states and do not include calls to Alaska, Hawaii and international countries which are charged based on the rate stated in the Broadband Voice International Rate Finder . Vcard Only Plan (pay as you go)If you've opened a Vcard Only account with us, you can use the Cape.Com voice network for your calls without having to pay for additional Internet services. This pay-as-you-go plan requires that you maintain a minimum account balance of $10. If your account balance falls below this level, you'll be prompted to recharge your account before making your call. Activating your Cape.Com Voice CardOur support staff will activate your new Voice Card before it's shipped so you can start using your card as soon as it arrives. (Go to the "Using your Cape.Com Voice Card" section below.)
If you've received a card at a special event or promotion, you may need to activate your card. To activate your card, simply: - Login to On-line Accounting (My Account). Once activated, you're ready to begin making Broadband Voice calls. Follow the steps below. Using your Cape.Com Voice Card1) Call the local Cape.Com voice access number closest to you. If you are travelling or located outside of Cape Cod, use the Voice Access Number Finder to find more voice access numbers along the eastern seaboard. For your convenience, you may also use our toll-free Voice access number. Please note that there is an additional charge of 5 cents/minute on top of the per minute connection rate when using our toll-free voice access number. Please contact our voice support team at voice@cape.com for this toll-free number. 2) Listen for a dial tone. When using Cape.Com Voice Card, there is no additional equipment required, however, the user must enter the local voice access number and PIN with every phone call made. Important: Your telephone bills are your responsibility. You should always check with your local telephone company to determine if a voice access number is a local call for you. Cape.Com, Inc. is not responsible for long distance toll charges incurred for accessing our Broadband Voice service. The 30 day free trial covers a maximum of 600 domestic minutes ($15), and charges will be refunded only if the customer cancels service within 30 days of activation. If VoIP adapter hardware is purchased from Cape.Com and service is cancelled within 30 days, the hardware may be returned for a refund as long as it is returned in good working order with the original box and documentation.
