the problem may not be with mail but with your connection
to the Internet; make sure you have a
good connection to the Internet.
- Verify your Mail Settings.
- Does your mail begin to download
and then get stuck? You may have more
mail than your mail program can handle
at once, or an email attachment which
is confusing your mail program. Check
your mail with Cape.Com's Webmail.
program, delete any unnecessary messages, and then check your mail
again with your regular mail program.
- Trouble with attachments? Visit our
Attachment Troubleshooting Section.
- Trouble sending mail to any email address?
Go to your Outbox, delete all messages
waiting to be sent, and try again.
(One particular message may be causing
trouble, and not letting any other messages through.)
- Trouble sending mail to/receiving mail from one particular email address, although otherwise
mail is fine?
- Verify that the email address was typed in absolutely correctly.
- If a message could not be delivered, it should "bounce"
back to the sender. Read this "bounced" message carefully;
it will explain the reason why it could not be delivered.
